You have yokies? Do you breed them?i did a rough "head count" 34 EO eggs in the bators currently (2 different sources).. the ones I can see into all look like they are growing well... so I expect there has to be at least a couple of clears that I haven't detected yet since it's still early on.. wish I could see into all of them.. but my candler is in dire need of new batteries.. and I could always use the extra bator room! 9 chicks hatched out about a week or so ago 8 more older chicks (from another breeder) plus the two adults ..in all I should end up with somewhere around 45 or 50 EOs.. give or take (hopefully I didn't miss a batch in the head count...)that's not counting the dorkings, bresse, bantams, ameracaunas, arucaunas, assorted freezer camper purebreds, yokohamas, ducks and geese.. (who am I missing.. I know there's someone I'm missing.. lol)
i have eggs still coming in (3 dozen duck, plus a couple dozen assorted chickens).. then I'll take a break for a few weeks while I sanitize everything down again before the next round.

Not sure what the silver red and blue reds are...but i cant wait! Sarge has some in the bator now that im grab a few chicks out of. Ours are red shouldered....thought it was only them an whites as options...not yet.... but hatching eggs are on the way.. silver blue and blue red hoping for a good hatchif so I'll be up for a swap once they start laying eggs!told ya that you and Sarge had me thinking about them again... so I finally decided to get them since I have been in love with them for quite some time
We have gotten a 1/2" so far today. Much needed! Managed to get a couple of rows of purple hull peas planted before it rained though.
