So everything is going well with the newly introduced chicks with my older bunch, but they arent venturing out of the coup...i saw one out in the run today, the rest are all staying inside. Should i try and shoo them out or just let it be?

give them a day or two.. then if more haven't figured it out give them a little boost.. just be prepared to put them up at night for a few times until they get the hang of things

Does anyone know where I can find a couple Appenzeller Spitzhauben pullets? Im in college station but am willing to drive as far as Waco-Houston-Austin areas (appx 2 hours). My boyfriend is finally getting interested in my chickens and wanted to pick the new breed. I dont know much about them yet but they sure look interesting.

Some pictures of the property before we get started. It's a disaster but has great potential!!! We are very excited and will sign the paperwork on Tuesday to finalize our work schedule.

The top two pictures are the guineas that come with the property. The middle ones are the bones for Yinepu to check out. The last one is the male donkey Balem and the top of Fiona's head. If you zoom in on one of the pictures in my previous post you can see the both of the donkeys.

Very nice stelle! Looks about like what im working with, except the cattle have semi tamed that grass! Looks like alot of fun thiugh! Where are u located now?
