Im in that same boat! Except i have about 5 the should be laying an arent!!! Did a count this morning and i have 5 roos! Sheesh i need a bach pad then determine which of the lucky guys will get to hang out with the layers. Have the yokie, a polish, Ee, Slw, and a cuckoo marans...decisions decisions

I've got 6 birds. 4 of which are of laying age, te other 2 are at POL. I have 2 layers. And neither lays a colored egg lol.
 
Anyone have trouble with rats.
They dig under the fences to get to the feed. I put out rat poison and they don't touch it. It's been laying right there for two days.
Frustrating!
