Texas

thought so.. but it seems to be the opposite with the copperhead we have seen? Rats we see during the day.. or ANY time really.. but the copperheads have been when it is cooler? Maybe the heat is too hot and in the cooler they are looking for sun? I have no idea.. just know I don't like them!

You're over aggie land way right? I will search for you. I have no life lol. I spen way to much time on CL. Smart phones are trouble.

However, for that price, driving the 2.5 hrs here would be worth it, IMO. we aren't that far from CS. We make the day drive alot.

And copperheads just suck, regardless of weather. If you have rats, you'll have snakes.

yes! Aggie land! I have GOT to be missing something! Found 25 of the.. oh brain fart.. the common every day white ones in CS and the BSL chicks in Giddings.. the rest are def not local! I am going to do a shout out on facebook groups and see if ppl are maybe just hiding or something. But hey.. if you are bored, I would be ever so grateful! Maybe I am missing something when I am trying to search.. no idea! The coop will be ready in 2 weeks (give or take) So no rush really! We are making sure NO snakes can get in there! We had a rat snake kill one of the landlords right after we moved here so... taking extra precautions! The thought of me driving 2.5hrs with 3 kids right now

but would if I absolutely had to.

I haven't seen any sign or rats or mice.. but we do have like 100 frogs, lizards, salamanders and geckos everywhere! Then again.. we are on like 75 acres so I guess we should be thankful we haven't seen more!

This summer's weather has been crazy, but I'll take it. If I know we're going to keep getting a few days of cool every few weeks I can handle the scorchers. It's when we get into 30, 40, 50 straight days of 100+ that it's just too brutal to be outside. I've got 2 inches in the rain gauge already, and there's more coming! Since I'm on a rainwater collection system I am THRILLED. I was getting very low, and when that happens I have to switch back to city water which is nasty and unreliable.

I'm sure my husband would love and excuse to go to aTm. Lol. He's from an aggie family. I'm kinda tired of Maroon. Lol!
Hahaaa.. although we have only been in Tx for 3 yrs now, and coming from Austin area and being a total a country gal.. I am loving it! besides.. it is my fav color! hahaa. My oldest is suppose to be coming down to help us finish the coop.. then I def will be needing to fill it up!

Yea, I don't like orange either lol. I prefer black and red. But ya know, I didn't go to any of them lol. My husband went to Sam Houston.
