Apparently getting into the coop or under it during the rain isn't in the list of things to learn for roosters.

Went out to check everyone while a break in the rain. Frizzles aren't so impressive when they are all wet. Kinda look like drowned rats.

Hey CHuckle, I checked a few eggs ysterday and i dont think my male(rooster?) has figured out what to do quite yet. Ill keep an eye on them and check periodically and ill let you know!

I've been an occassional lurker, but I'm going to officially jump on the Texas bandwagon! We're in deep East TX - Marshall area.

How 'bout this summer weather? Mid 80s in the middle of July? Yes, please!!!

I had to bring some of mine in. The water just goes right through to the skin of the poor frizzles and Silkies are almost as bad.
