That looks like so much fun!  What do they shoot with and how does everyone stay safe?

We use single action Colt .45 revolvers with black powder blanks. So no projectiles. The hot embers from the powder pop the balloons.

...dang, I feel insensitive because all I could think about was how hard it must be to hit your target while on a horse!

I figured the targets were on one side of the stand and people on the opposite.
