Major shooting at the Naval yard in Washington DC. Not sure how many dead and injured. Gunmen with AR15s.
Washington DC has the toughest gun laws in the country. Only the bad guys have them there.

Please pray (those that do) for the victims and their families.

Littlewing - I'm trying to find out now about it. I don't believe my Marine BIL is in that area, he teaches at the War College...but it still concerns me.

I really think that most times horses intend to miss.  I've only dealt with one dangerous horse, a gelding, who when walking the shed row would reach up with every stride trying to get you.  He should have been euthanized.  I hope someone did instead of passing him off.
I've kicked many a horse in the mouth that was trying that. I don't know if they intend to miss or not but when shoeing you learn to keep close and in contact with those back legs because if they do kick when you're there, all the end up doing is pushing you away. I've been "push kicked" this way a lot. But never hurt since I was too close for them to connect well on.

If a horse kicks at you & misses he meant to miss, they are very accurate :duc

My husband shoes our horses & shod all of our racehorses when we were running, he totally agrees with you on the staying close & being push kicked. He did get kicked by a filly many years ago that we had on crossties saddling- she kicked him so hard it knocked him into the wall & he had a horseshoe shape in the middle of his chest, had the blood all pooled under the skin :sick He was so lucky but that area still bothers him 30 years later :(

Visited a new church yesterday (I do this a lot to meet more members of the Body of Christ). Saw this video there and thought is was great. Tried to post it with my phone and it did not work. here it is again.
