Texas

I lost my little silver laced wyandotte to the foster dog yesterday. I was so excited that she actually left her pups to go outside, I completely forgot that I had just let my girls out of their coop. Grr...it was my fault too. I felt so bad.

However, I did see that someone had a light brahma roo!!! I just might be interested in that! I am in the east dallas area also, more specifically Rockwall/Nevada/Wylie area.
Is this the Dachshund? They are really motivated to kill things. It's what they were bred for.

I'm sorry. I understand. Forgive the dog and be more careful. That's what I'm trying to do, although I am really, really tempted to just put down the little mini Dachshund that is so dedicated to killing my small chickens.

Once, a friend of mine (in Mexia) caught a coon. He called me over for curry dinner the next day. It's not the best curry; but it's the best we could do for the chicken.

Yes, it is the dachshund...It was totally my fault, because I was more concerned about her attacking my dogs (she did that Wednesday and growls anytime they come near her...totally understandable with the new babies) that by the time I noticed her after the chickens, it was too late. I have forgiven her...I know it is nature and she is just doing what she is supposed to do. I just have to make sure that my chicks are up when I let her out. And I forgive her each time I see those cute little baby faces!!! :) Still trying to figure out who is the baby daddy (LOL) but from the looks of the pups...boxer ish?? If so, I will say they are Doxers....haha..

Well, I'm a little sad today. My work partner retired yesterday and she was/is a great friend, but we don't live close so I won't see her often.

I am extra busy until we hire a new person, in November!

I needed a funny....

Have you all seen the commercial where they have chickens promoting a Mercedes? It's pretty funny. I'm leery of posting the link - the last time I posted a link I got a warning from the boss chicken:)

Good Morning! There is a heavy blanket of low dark clouds this morning and the humidity is up. Look like RAIN! :fl Could be that the weather forecast is actually right? :th
Its raining here right now. We participated in the Comal Co. Parade in New Braunsfel this morning with the Hill Country Tea Party Patriots, it rained on us a couple of times during the parade :(
