When it would food poison then the rest of the people would have it too, which ate the cabbage.
There is a stomach flu going around. We all here was really sick last week. And a friend of mine had it too.

years ago my brother invited me over for some "Killer fish soup" as he put it. He has a degree from Cordon Bleu. Got over there and after the first bowl he doubled over in extreme pain. I was sure his appendix had burst. I rushed him to the hospital. It was a kidney stone that cause his kideny to go into a spasm.

If your pain is om the lower right side of your stomach it could your appendix. It the pain is extremely intense to the point of vomiting it mught be a kideny stone.

sorry for the typos. I hate touchscreens!!!!!

Possible, but pain is not on right side, it's at the top of the abdomen.
I get that sort of solid pain when something isn't digesting like meat and it sits in my stomach...until...it comes up
or some people actually drink hot water with meat tenderizer in it...I find hot broth helps...to break it up....I've had what your describing it gets to where you just can't stand it anymore!!

I never eat beef anymore because of it...but anything dry or something that might gum up will cause it too

Well, I'm a little embarrassed but after fighting this pain since 1:30am it went away as suddenly as it came!

I kept feeling like I needed to "stretch out" my abs so I stood over the counter, bent over and put my head down and let the gut hang. Nothing happened but it felt better. JaJeanPierre suggested something similar so she must have been sending my psychic instructions! :)

I had a Lemon Zinger tea, took two aspirin, took my diabetic shot - blood sugar was 155 this morning which is a little high for me (I'm only mildly diabetic and can usually control it w/o meds) and I went into the bathroom to ralph and get it over with. So I sat on the tub and waited....then I suddenly felt MUCH better!! It was like a light switch.

The pain is GONE and the nausea is gone.

I have a high tolerance to pain but I was seriously thinking about going to the emergency room!

Thank you all for your suggestions and well wishes.

Yep, I call it my new way of eating, LOL! As of yesterday I hit the 30 pound weight loss mark. I was able to do the same thing when I was on Medifast, but the huge difference is, I am never hungry and I don't feel like I am giving anything up, so I really think this is going to sick. LOVE it!!!!
