I am looking for someone here in Texas who raises really good Blue Andalusians with sharp lacing. I need a juvenile or adult pair for a breeding project. Any leads at all are greatly appreciated...

The enclosed part of the run actually goes on back under the coop itself and after a week or so, they will have access to the fenced off garden to the left of the coop/run! But I see a CITY in our future

Wow! That's some gnarly molting! Your hens are pretty. What are they? I have four month old chickens. I ordered them from Myer hatchery and they are supposed to be Domeniques but only four of eight and two of three have rose combs. The others have single combs, two of which are considerably larger, leading me recently to believe that I have three breads. I am not sure now if I have barred rock or coco morans. There goes my breading plan. I hear Murry McMurray is a good hatchery. What do you know? We are in the gulfcoast region where it is humid and gets hot.

I ended up with two roosters. One is a Domenique and the other is probably a barred rock. These girls are in the Nique's family. The one on the right is a Domenique and the other has a single comb. The ladies are helping me build the nest boxes.
they are an excellent hatchery. ideal is very close to you in Cameron ,tx excellent also. you might go to the Dominique thread on here and find a breeder of ones closer to the sop ..if that is something you want to breed for ..If not the hatchery ones are great birds for a backyard flock.
