Texas

It's a non tested trap so cross your fingers it's there come morning! It's kind of hidden back there.. went to check on it.. just saw eyes this time.. then brush cracking all over.... think I better just wait.. no, not scared of the dark.. just the creatures IN the dark!

Good Morning Fellow Texans!

Sounds like someone had an exciting night last night!! My excitement was when my husband and I walked into the turkey coop to get it ready for turkeys. DH says, 'I don't think we should be in here right now' and touched my arm. I started backing up (couldn't believe I listened to him...) and was looking to see what he saw. We had been hunting rats. Out from under the feeder box was a skunk!!

Have a GREAT day!!

Lisa :)

P.S. I didn't stay around to take pictures either!

Good morning! Back to the grind today after 4 days off. Kind of hard to get into the swing of things.

It's a little chilly this morning but it is going to be a great day. Upper 60's! Yeah!! Have you seen what is coming this weekend though? :(

I am having exciting day. My new front and back doors are finally getting installed! They have been sitting in my garage for over a month waiting.

Lisa-glad you didn't get sprayed! I rode my bike by a skunk that was ambling down the road (2 lane, county road) once. I was so afraid he was going to spray me and my son. So glad he didn't.

Sound so romantic. ! Then the couple drove up the hill and spent hours on top of their truck, enjoying the full moon. The next morning, waking up late, Lisa called Tammy for help "Tammy sister dear, I'm still camping in the woods, would you go feed the turkey for me". And it's Tammy's turn to get exciting

Yes, Rufus was a wild caught abandoned cub that she bottle raised. He's just turned two this past summer. I will find some pictures.

I have an African Wildcat that someone found as a young kitten in the desert in Saudi Arabia. Domestic cats are descended from African Wildcats but are a separate species. A lot of the Saudi street cats are close crosses with the African Wildcat that is found in the deserts just outside of the towns and villages. He is a most unusual cat. As a kitten, he had no inflection in his voice. He had only one call, a deep one-tone "rrrooww" like a tom cat. No other sounds other than a purr. It was an odd sound to come out of a little kitten. As he grew, he learned from the other cats to use inflection in his voice. He's such a neat cat. He is huge, weighing 18 or 19 pounds when he is the proper weight.
