Can you explain this sprinkler you are talking about? I had the septic tank cleaned and inspected when I bought the place. I don't know anything about a sprinkler. The pool house has a kitchen and bathroom and it is 8 or 10 feet below the septic tank. I was told there is a "sump pump" to move sewage and grey water to the septic tank.

Who do I call? A plumber? A septic tank installer? When I moved in, the owner gave me the card of a "husband for hire." I hope I still have his card somewhere! I can whelp puppies and foal mares. Just not handy with the hardware stuff!

If you had an aerobic system (I do have one) you would have at least 3 poles with sprinklers on top of them in your yard. Once every day these sprinklers will spray. Is there a phone number anywhere on or around the 'red light' for you to call. Is there a switch that you can hit to reset? I can't believe your septic tank is full if you had it cleaned out 18 months ago. Has your family been using the pool lately? Maybe something got clogged up in there.

My DH is out at the moment, or I would have him help.

I am at Tokyo airport with my son Andy and his gf Michelle. My flights and the connection to Chicago then Houston are ok. But Michelle's flight from Chicago to Atlanta got cancelled. The rebooking plan is delayed all the way back to Jan 9 (from Jan 6). Poor girl !

How are the NFL play off .... I guess they will play with the snow storm. This is another reason that Dallas and Houston should make the play off so the games can be warmer indoor.

Hung, all is quiet for now. I did get a whiff of Mr. Skunk this morning, but no sign of him around the place. All my chickens are boarded up for the night. Just hoping the next two nights doesn't hurt them any. We are suppose to get down to 22 tomorrow night and 24 tonight.

I gave away my jacket and my watch (to my bro in law in VN), so I can feel the cold in Tokyo now (about 25F). I am aware that it will be 28F in Austin Mon night but my other son will bring me another jacket when he picks me up.

I need some advice. 

I've lived my adult life overseas in company housing where I called maintenance when a light bulb needed changing.  Neither me nor my husband are remotely handy.  I develop a rash if I touch a screw driver.  A hammer caused painful blisters.

It seems I have a problem with the sump pump in the cabana.  There's a big, bright red light that's turned itself on on top of a box with "Advanced Aerobic Programmer" written on it.  The previous owner told my husband that was for the sump pump.  All the circuits breakers seem to be on.

My house is above the septic tank, but the cabana by the pool is not.  I gather I do not use any sink or toilet in the cababana.  Can anyone give me some insight into what could be going on?  Will I have a sewage nightmare, with the septic tank backing up through the toilet?  (It was emptied and cleaned out before we bought the place 18 months ago.)  I am having visions of Lucy Ricardo and the chocolate factory, but substitute sewage instead.

Who do I call?

The sprinklers mentioned are for a different type of system. We have sprinklers. It sounds like you have a leach field instead of sprinklers. You should call a septic system company or septic system maintenance company. Septic systems scare me because I don't know very much about them. If I had an alarm or light going off, I'd be a nervous wreck. Sorry I'm not more help.

Oh there was a JG cock that was absolutely a GIANT, impressive to see, I have no idea how they got him in through the door of the show cage. The RIR cockerel that won CH American was huge also. You could walk these guys like a dog or maybe ride them, lol.

Flights everywhere are really messed up!

Playoffs are rocking along. Green Bay lost today, bengals lost (heart breaking-I was rooting for my katy high boy, Andy dalton. Kansas City lost. SF won. Alabama just folded. Ugh! Sooners won yea!
