I got my cold season veggies planted this afternoon. Carrots, parsnips, rutabaga, and broccoli. I plan on planting them again in the fall too.

Tomorrow I'm getting two more welsummers. They are from the same flock my first two came from. After being apart about six weeks, how much time is needed for reintroduction? Will they remember each other? I have two and am adding two, so I didn't know since my group is so small if that might lessen the pecking order issues, or make it worse.

Coop progress. Not as far along as I would like to be. Apparently now that I'm getting older I cannot hang like I could 10 years ago. My left arm has ceased to work from driving all those darn 3 inch screws! I'm gonna have to break down and get an air nailer. Might as well call AARP and get mu membership...
