It shows different ways to fix up the run so it is nice for people to look at and for the chickens. The book has a list of shrubs (probably on-line too) that are good for cover and are chicken safe.

zip ties are just too difficult to remove. I don't reccommend them. The easiest think I found was colored velcro ties. They are often used to tie cords together. You can find them in walmart in the sewing/craft isle cheaper than in the electronics area. They can be cut to size and stay on as long as you want provided you wrap a long enough length.

Four chihuahuas and a pit mix. My 10 year old heeler just passed. We're about to get a great pyr or two once we get the perimeter fence in the front two acres dog / chicken proof. Blue is good at what he does but he's getting old and he spends his time sprawled out in the yard or on the couch guarding the puppies... See?
