Once one of my coop doors came open and I didnt know it. I heard sam my young rooster screetching like something was killing him so I went running out back door. And my other two roosters bob and fred was fighting fred was outside of bobs coop trying to fight him through the fence. James my hubby made me this thing to catch them with when I need to.It is a small fishing pole with a small wire hook at end and I can hook there leg andreach down and pivk them up . So I was able to get them apart. So I learned real quick to make sure there was good locks on doors

Watch their feet, as they kick the fence, feet skin got lots of damage. Put some cream medicine to prevent infection.

Dexters are so cute. We're debating getting some next year. Mini cows and mini goats. Maybe even mini chickens. Haha!

I am going to Houston in a few weeks how close are you to there ??

I'm located in New Braunfels. I have never shipped eggs, but will sell them if anyone wants them.

Currently I have day old chicks and 4 week olds. Both smooth and frizzles.
