I'm nibbling chicken cubes as I read! hahaha!! If I glued them back together I'd have a...."rooster block"...some of you will get it. :D

Those are beautiful birds especially the roo...That's what my DH wants for another roo...He says it looks like the Kelloggs' rooster and he always thought he was so cool with all the colors. Did you say he was friendly? I already have one roo that's a stinker....a nice one would be good.

Thank you! Sorry I should not use the word "friendly", but they are respectful. I have a young daughter and have had issues with my roosters going after her, these guys respect her space, so they get to stay

They have never tried to test the waters with anyone in the house. All my others did, some got put in their place, others did not, all are gone now, except these two!

As for my parrot, yeah she was pretty old. Birds like Macaws and African grey parrots can live upwards of 50 years or more, sometimes out living their owner. For this breed 40 years was a good long life. She was a pretty big bird as parrots go...she was about 13 inches from head to tail. She was green with a yellow head and red and yellow epilets and blue feathers under her wings. God had to make her beautiful to make up for the obnoxious voice she had. Chicken talk is much more pleasant, even the egg song is sweeter...LOL
