Yes we are, and are proud of it. Every once in a while you have to blow some steam off, and no better place than this. We can be serious during the day and crazy at night.

My ducks (soon to be @Starfire669 's ducks) eat holes in the ground too. Doesn't bother us much, but our chickens sometimes stumble over them when they're not paying attention. Once they are re-homed, we're going to do our best to restore the mostly level (and grassy) yard we once had.Our ducks are eating holes in the ground. Its horrible. I will try to get a picture tomorrow. They make a huge mess with their water and like to drink/play in the puddles when we're cleaning up the run. It looks like I'm going to have to use the tiller again to smooth it all out. Its ridiculous. I told the kids we could keep 2 of the 4 but one of their favorites is the main culprit! I've had the 2 listed on Craigslist since before Easter but haven't had anyone seriously ask about them. They've got to go, they are causing to much work. I wish we didn't live in the middle of no where, a very populated middle of no where, and it was close enough to meet someone to give them to! My husband wants to process the 2 we aren't keeping but they are nothing but feathers and fluff right now. Oh, and not friendly at all. They run from us anytime we get near them but we've handled them even more than the chickens!
Don't worry if you end up with our layer(s)...ours will come of age & lay in due time.
Once they start laying, I think I'll do the food coloring trick. Heck, if we're still only getting our 1/2 eggs per day, I might dye all their butts to see who our layer is.![]()
