Vet said she is 6-7 weeks old, no parvo, needing a different more powerful dewormer, and ned to be repeated in 3 weeks. Can be given vaccine in 1 week and will need to go back in another week for a checkup

I am sorry Therry, I have been working in the shop all day. Just stopped for lunch. That is great news, and yes, I saw the pics, thank you. Do you need me to send any money for the vet bill??

nah 82 out of pocket is alot, but itts ok. A pup that needs help, we dont mind :). But after she is good to go, you can take her and I wil give you the second pil for worms if youd like. Cause its a repeat in 3 weeks.

I got a good laugh watching them. I would have thought they would get hot all crammed in there, a couple were panting. But no one wanted out until 1 of the SLW cockerels stepped on everyone to get in. Lol.

I'm sorry Starfire, didn't mean to interrupt. I hope you are feeling better, I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back. I know what that pain is like, especially if it starts to spasm.

I scoop when I get a chance, once or twice a week. We have sand in the run and pine shavings in the coop. I prefer the sand because you can use a pooper scooper and not lose to much of the sand. I'm not sure what to use in the nesting boxes though. The girls have been sleeping in 1 box all together

. I have an old t-shirt in there with some shavings on top, but thought straw might be a better option and I'm making a privacy curtain to hang in front of the boxes too.

I might sand their run. Right now, the floor of their run is the ground. Didn't think about using sand or any other material there for easy clean-up. Thanks!
