Texas

Henry is doing fine. He went to town today, don't know what for. I haven't asked him to help with our garden. Henry kind of takes over your garden silently when allowed to do so. He also just plants things where he sees room and I like having my garden neat and orderly, lol. I really can't think of anything he needs right now. He is a simple man who has learned how to make do with what he has due to tight finances. It's one reason we always invited him over for a holiday meals, the other being no one else ever showed up to spend the holidays with him. Which was sad. Henry can be very rude, but no one deserves to be alone on holidays.

Thanks for the info on Henry, he sounds just like my Grandpa. I look at it this way, he fought for his right to be rude, if he wants to be. And so have you!! Not saying you are, but if you want to be, you earned it. If I think of anything else, I will include it in the package. Y'all can sell what he won't use or give it away. Looking forward to meeting him and you. I will make it a point to come down there. It is late, and I have a really long day tomorrow. Goodnight and God Bless!!

2 of my uncles and 1 cousin are/were San Antonio police. My cousin is a sergeant in the SAPD now. But I would have to deal with Bexar county sheriff, not SAPD. But why not. It is legal and I am tired of having to run to grab something to chase the dogs out. And maybe those idiots who walk down the street with all the lose dogs would stop if they saw me carring. Doubt it but I can dream right? Good thing I have a good holster for it.

Go for it girl!!

i am in north east tx and i have run into what you are talking about. mine will hatch a higher percentage running dry hatch...of 20-30 until day18 then run it up to 60+ . i know it is different depending on your location elevation makes a difference outside temp humidity and inside temp and humidity also. hope this helps but i think u already have the answer just lower the humidity to start. happy hatching

We are looking forward to meeting you as well. Good night Ken.
Tomorrow we get ducklings so I'll be busy rearranging things. Lol. But still excited.

Ooooohhhhh! Dirty Harriet! Having law enforcement in your family will only help you. If somebody calls the sheriff about you wearing a weapon on your own property and the sheriff comes out, tell them you know your rights because of all your family in law enforcement. That right there will probably make them back off. The thin blue line and all that.

Lol it also helps that my dad, after getting injured in the 101st airborne was Military Police. And my Husband was Master at Arms in the Navy before he got out. Most of my family has served in either law enforcement or a branch of the military. Sometimes both at once! Lol. I am ex-Navy, my nephew was Navy, grandfather was Airforce, an uncle was Army with my dad. My family loves to serve our country.

Sounds like my family. My dad was in the Navy in WWII, as was his younger brother. His older brother was in the Army Air Corps and was stationed in Europe. He was a flight engineer on bombers and flew the invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. The fourth brother was on the front lines in the Army in Korea. My mom's two older brothers were also in Korea, one in the Army and one the Marines. The older of my two brothers was in the 82nd Airborne, then has spent the past 25 years or so in the National Guard. He spent two tours in Afghanistan. The younger of my brothers was in an airborne unit of the National Guard, and also spent 6 years in SOD in Austin doing drug interdiction. He then went into the DEA.

Once one seves, all serve. It should be a motto for military families. It does seem like service is in our blood. I'm sure your family takes pride in there service just like mine does.

I'm no longer receiving email notifications for my BYC threads since April 30th. I've tried everything. I just changed a few things & would like someone reading this to reply so I can see if that will cause the emails to start showing up again. Thanks :)
