But the three remaining ducks are coming around finally, and they're starting to be happier and not quite as nervous. I feel really bad for them, because they had to witness it. I'm not surprised they spent most of these past few weeks in their run, away from the scenes of the crimes. Even though it'll be a huge change for them, I think they'll be much happier when we move. And I'm definitely going to make sure they are well protected.

Just something I've picked up from reading here on BYC. Not from personal experience, mine are only 12 & 13 weeks old now. I did not want a Roo with my first batch of chicks, for this reason.
no, I need a good solid Roo for my girls, not phsycos. Just don't know where too look.
