Ok here are just a few of the chickens i need to take some better pics i know for sure one of these is a copper maran. And can anyone tell me if these are pullets or roos?? First time chicken owner just trying to figure it out. [/quotte I'd put my money on hens. I've got a copper and a black, 9 weeks and this is what they look like and they are hens

Alrighty! Black copper marans shouldn't have any white on them..
And I think that first one at least is a roo. Probably the second too, with that coloring.

Wow!! And I thought Issac, brown leghorn, was learning to crow early at 10 weeks. He is 14 weeks old today

Becka is the sebright that raised the 7 that hatched May 1st. This was Belle, a catalana (my avatar). She hatched and raised Speedy my little white bantam mix which hatched March 26th..

This is Becka and her 7 a week ago. They are now "weaned" and on their own.

The second from the bottom looks like a copper, but I don't really a plain black! They should have no other colors.
