Goodmorning. I am laid up in a hospital bed. Broken ribs, broken clavical, some hip bones I have never heard of but I can now tell you where they are. Ouch.Motorcycle accident. It's gone. Will not be replaced, but my husband and I are alive.

I'm so sorry for your accident, glad you guys survived. I'm praying for a speedy recovery for you and your husband.

It is 4 in the morning, still laid up in the hospital hoping to go home today. In pain, but but can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I won't be able to do too much. Hate the thought of rehoming my last 3 hens, maybe I can get some help from my neighbor kids tending to the girls. It is going to be a painful month or two.

Since The Ladies got along well with The Girls yesterday, we opted not to build a run for the doghouse coop. Here is our completed doghouse coop in action.

The Ladies slept in the main coop & The Girls chose their new coop for the night. I anticipated The Girls would follow The Ladies to bed, but I guess they don't feel like it.

I lost my favorite EE hen and first layer yesterday to our newer pup...heartbreaking.
Now I think one of my BOs might have leg mites. Do I soak THEN coat with oil? Or just oil her up?
