I am so eggcited. Princess laid her first egg since recovering from a hard molt. Yea!!!!!!!
And Miss Priss laid an egg too. She must not be done. Just slowing down like me.

Oh wow! I'm so sorry...losing babies never gets easy
I know you've been incubating for awhile..was there maybe a chance that something contaminated it? Maybe an egg that weeped a little?
That or something off in the brooder?
We're you able to get a thermometer in there?

I am using an eco grower right now. I will have to buy a thermometer but the chicks are nice and warm :) they were eating and drinking. No egg that weeped in the incubator. Nothing to cause contamination. The chicks were cold there for a little while but they continued to die even when warmed up.

It almost looked like the dead babies had some blood coming to the skin on their feet? I've never had these issues with the 3/4 years of incubating

I'm sorry..wish I could be of more help.
I've only hatched with a broody.
And the only time I've lost so many was when I got my first shipment of chicks, from PA in January :/
Not smart of me but I was impatient.. I lost 9 of m 15 due to cold.

I hope you are able to figure it out!
