Texas

Sorry Mags, I'm not close enough.

Hey Kate, how are you doing? I just got a couple of 2 month olds from one of my customers. A bielfelder and a Cream Legbar. Both Pullets. You know chicken math, I want 2 more birds. I don't have a roo, but want a variety. At this point in time, I hav 4 RIR's, 1 EE, 1 Americauna, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Buff Orpington, and the 2 mentioned above. Do you have any thing else you want to get off your hands and into someone elses? I am looking for just 2 more pullets about the age of my newbies. This is because it is all I have room for at the moment.

I have 3 youngsters you can have if you want them. I think they are either EE or EE + PBR.

Ken,

We're flooded. Having to relearn how to swim to get back and forth to work. Debating on getting a dolphin. It would be faster.

All kidding aside, this rain is drowning us. We've lost five birds this week to the weather. I'll have to look, but, I may be able to relinquish two EEs. I know I've got something else in the grow pens, but, I'm so tired I can not think. To dark to go find out. They're about the same age. Everything else surpasses your group by leaps and bounds. If you want a cool looking rooster, I've got a couple of spare BBR Kraienkoppe, a Lakenvelder, and a few Silver Spangled Hamburgs that need rehoming. I'd be willing to wait until you're ready. ;)

I don't know if I'd meet you close enough. The farthest I'm going in that direction is to Boerne. By that point, we will have driven about 9 hours and will likely be exhausted. :(

Ugh, I love going to Austin. Normally, when we go up in that direction, we end up going elsewhere, though. We like to go picking through some barn sales. We get sidetracked, haha!

Lol

I am getting so excited....I have two incubators going with 16 eggs that are about to hatch....These are suppose to be mottled Orpingtons....Just two more days before they hatch...I am getting so excited.....How many on here have ever used a Brinsea 7 egg incubator?....That is what I am using and the other one holds 9 eggs but it is not a Brinsea...It is a square blue incubator....Never used this one before.....Sowe will see in two days how many eggs hatch....None may hatch I don't know...Anyone had experience with these?...Thanks in advance....Dexterlady.....

That sounds like my little girl who likes to pack around chickens like dolls. After a few of those incidents, she carries them upside down with the vent facing away from her.

My English Orps are 5 weeks old today. This was a week ago. Everyone wanting to take a bath at the same time.

Add some tortillas and sauce for chicken enchiladas.
