The rain has just started here. Bill is a massive storm and here it comes. With how wet the ground still is, they're saying it could actually become stronger from the land moisture instead of weakening. I'm really hoping it doesn't work out that way.

We didn't flood last time but my mother's house did.

Since I finally had a decent amount of time at home today, I thought I would try uploading the coop pics that were requested. After 15 minutes of it trying to upload 1 image it timed out and started over. No sites are designed for the snail's pace of dial-up anymore, and I refuse to pay $100 a month to a satellite company to have a limited amount of data. So until BYC programmers fix the mobile uploading glitch I can not post images.

I sure do hope every one is staying calm and dry.
I let my Ladies out this morning and then got coffee and some news in me, oops so then I spent quite a bit of time outside in a down pour looking like this Came in soaking wet and deposited my clothing into the shower. after getting a fresh dry outfit I noticed this Now I am not sure if the sunshine was mocking me or my now cooped up Ladies, but one look at the coop and I am quite sure it was the latter
this is what i saw in the coop window. and !!

So back out to the coop to let the Ladies roam for now.

Wow it would be nice if even one person knew what was really going to happen with this storm for central Texas.

Good luck with your Ladies and Weather reporters Stay Safe Texas!

Bill is just a spit in the wind!!

Tropical Storm Allison 14 years ago was a massive storm!!! Allison caused massive flooding on its own without previous soaking rains. Only reason Bill is getting as much attention is because the ground was already saturated before making landfall.

Allison made landfall in early June also.

Have you tried compressing your images down to a smaller size before you try to upload them?
