Thanks! Now if we can only find some way to get rid of this heat and humidity
Ice, ice and then more ice. It danced with 110 degrees yesterday here. Our poor birds were just panting in the heat. We put out frozen jugs of ice water and they just lean against them to get cool. We did rig a fan that blows across a couple of the frozen jugs to circulate some cooler air and that brought the temp in the coop down to about 90 which they did not seem to mind so much but still too hot for me.

I think we would have to move.  ;)

Most likely!

Just stay indoor

I try to stay in as much as I dislike being indoors

I have frozen 2 ltrs and milk jugs taking up half the deep freeze and rotate them throughout the day

Do any of you hatch chicks with an incubator?
It's my first try...I'm just wondering if I need to know anything extra about humidity, since its so humid in Texas.
Do y'all keep it around 40-50%?

Hiya TX folk. I'm in Houston (Cypress area) and I'm looking to relocate 5 chickens. 3 buff Orrington (2 of which are pretty young still) and 2 Australorps. We were trying to get away with keeping them in our deed restricted neighborhood and got busted. Anyone want to take them? I also have 3-5 gallon buckets of layer feed. One 5 gallon bucket of scratch as well.
