I think them wandering is the norm, and you've been extremely diligent, and lucky in your training of your pyr....

I'm just saying, I know she's... unique that she has no desire to wander.

Although now that she's due for her big first heat season soon... that may change. LOL I need to find her a boyfriend ^.^

A few hours.

I personally just want to buy a male - but I don't want to spend more then a couple hundred on a farm dog. I don't even care if it's a anatolian/great pyr mix.... Mine's 1/4th anatolian and 3/4ths great pyr, which may be why she's less prone to wandering.

I like the anatolian's due to their shorter coat. She's fluffy, but she's not AS fluffy as some of the pure bred great pyr's, which definitely helps in the heat.

(for what it's worth, I want working dogs, and don't care about predigree/Akc. I care if they can work, and are sound temperment for workability, and the mix's for a shorter coat do better down on the border heat with all the humidity.)
