Welcome to Texas and the heat!
Thanks!
We were in MS/LA before MD and so far this is more tolerable - Less humid and a consistent good breeze down here!

Welcome to Texas and the heat!
My polish, Yzma, is very curious. There is a little thicket of woods behind their run and everyone likes to hang out in there during the heat of the day. He is the first to come out and see what I'm doing when I go out to check their water or bring treats. If I go out on the front deck, he magically appears, always keeping a close eye on me. He has tried sneaking up on me once or twice, but I've managed to catch him with the tip of my flip flop and give him a gentle boot. He got the idea pretty quickly and now gives me the evil eye from a distance. But if I offer mealworms or sit down to hang out with them in their run he is also the first up on my knee. Silly birds!I have a white crested black polish rooster named Jeraldo who likes to give me the evil eye when I trim his crest, nails and spurs; anytime I touch him. He is pretty much afraid of everything and is more likely to toss the girls under a bus to get out of the way of a presumed chicken murderer (aka, any new shadow or lawn maintenance item.) I keep him because he is the only roo I have, he is relatively quiet, he is funny to watch as he is running away, and he is kind to the ladies. He is lucky I haven’t found a white turken roo yet...
Thanks!
