Bertram here, checking in with 11 birds, 3 heelers, 2 cows, and a bunch of wild critters.
Welcome to the Texas thread, any chance you want a 4th healer? I rescued one off the street last easter she is fully vetted and fixed and an incredibly sweet animal who deserves a furrever home.

How are your birds? Anymore broodies?

Hello Texans! I’m new to this great State but I already feel right at home because of its amazing people. Same goes for this great online community. I’m in Granbury (half hour SW from DFW) and I’m always interested in more chickens so get in touch if you have extra fertile eggs, baby chicks, adult hens or pesky roos. :wee
Haha! Half an hour at 1AM maybe! 2 hours SW during rush hour.

Yes the same one "Hildy" keeps going broody. I no longer have a roo after he spurred me between the eyes and left me with a scar he was culled. Everything is good here in the Valley but looking at the weather forcast across the state feel sorry for the folks up north. Was DFW really 45F friday night at 10PM?

Edit- I forgot to mention the oranges are finally starting to drop from their bushes and blossoming. They smell incredible.

I have oranges on my trees right now.

Maybe I’m just a much better driver than you :love
That probably goes without saying. I live in the RGV we can't blame traffic for anything. If you are late for any reason down here it is a personal issue. Nothing like the metroplex. However, I was once an autobahn master with a car that did 150mph easy at one point in my life! For some reason that car got really good gas mileage at 70mh. Crazy.
