@Texas Kiki Is Mini left handed? He's using the axe the hard way. Oh, is he ambidextrous? Even better. Show him how to swing the axe. We want pictures of you swinging the axe the correct way!

Go, Mini! Go! Disassemble that tree! Don't stop until only the smoldering stump is left!

I'm left handed. He is right handed but swings both ways.

@Texas Kiki I'd get him started on the 20 inch $10- bowsaw tomorrow to get thos big pieces chopped into small ones personally. I can show you my battle scars from a 30 inch bowsaw at 13... yes mom had to take me to the ER for that one.

p.s. wifey says what are you planning on for the replanting? Don't go putting in a fruitless mulberry(me) those trees are garbage.

I think mini is working on the part that fell down from termite damage. I believe it was mentioned that the remainder of the tree is leaning over the house. That is where the pros come in. Squished houses or squished minis are not free!

Edit to add ^5 to the mini on his demo of the downed portion!

Hey Texas folks - we are looking for a new home for Tiny Terri, the white bantam cochin, who's an absolute darling but really looks to be a cockerel, and we're not allowed to have those here. He's been hand-raised since he was a day old, and spent lots of time with people and is well socialized. He won't be the first one to fly up to my lap - that's almost always Cera - but he'll then fly up to join the others and spend time on my shoulder or arm and enjoy pets. I am willing to drive an hour or two to meet somebody that has a good home for him. I'd prefer he wasn't just going to be straight up eaten.

So sad to hear you are going to be forced to re-home one of your chicken in the DFW metroplex area. I hope you find somebody willing to help you out with that after all the investment of your time and money into chicken keeping, also I suggest trying craigslist, but don't ask too many questions I know that is a heartbreaking thought.

We had some mulberry trees up in MD and the chickens loved them! By fruitless you mean they didn't make any berries? We had some issues with low yield and immature fruit on our plum and pear trees and someone told us it was due to self-pollination. You need a nearby tree for cross-pollination, either your own or a neighbor's.
