My friend just called me, he's in Beaumont. He's lost all his birds again, including the 26 pairs of pheasants I gave to him after Hurricane Harvey! :that least 3 feet of water in most of his pens, some completely under water, he's got chickens, ducks, pheasants peafowl, Emu's, geese, turkeys.

Man if I lost livestock on that scale.... First I would cry because of all that hard work lost. After that with so many pheasant and exotics lost file that with my flood or homeowners claims.

He built a new home too! Hasn't got up to the house, yet. If I were him, I'd have moved to higher ground after Harvey.
I don't have any birds to give any to him, again this year.

I can donate quail eggs if he wants some.
I'll ask him...I don't know how he does it but last time he got almost all his replacement birds free.
He was suppose to get some East African Crown Cranes, he said he would give me some chicks or eggs for giving him all the pheasants...but I guess that deal didn't come through?
