A grilled cheese festival? You guys are so lucky to live in civilization.

I think its gonna be awesome! I can't wait, I'm so excited! It's 50 a ticket for 3 hours of all you can eat grilled cheese and the open bar.

Better drink fast to get yer $50/worth!!I would totally love joining you though as I bet they might make cheese mixed ones on good bread! Totally envious. I am craving real camanbert right now the kind that gives you an amonia noseburn. Not this cruddy stuff that gets exported man I miss France. I miss France for more than just the cheese we could go to the spring time wine markets and completely fill the back of our station wagon with mama medicine for around $200.

Our station wagon hit 150's on the autobahn so wasn't a wimp car. Opel Omega Kombi 3.0 it was a way underrated car and I think they were brought here to the US in 2006 by cadillac. Tires for it were crazy expensive though. It was cool though as you always got speed rated stickers to put on your dashboard. I hated those winter tires as they only went up to 210kmh for speed ratings, but got me up icy hills I couldn't even walk on. I can't tell you the number of times I got out of my car and fell on my bum.
Our summer tires sucked too only going up to 240kmh, but oh well they didn't sell better ones. Regardless, that was one fast car and over the years we owned 3 different ones. It was nice only getting passed by the occasional AMG tuned Mercedes at 1/10th or way less the price.

Is it like this everywhere in TX now? I never noticed how bad drivers were in Austin when we left in 2014, but man how can the police pull anyone over here for drunk driving as that behaviour is now too hard to spot? In my neck of the woods people do not maintain their lanes or even make a simple attempt to achieve the speed limit. It feels like an ethnic thing to me or maybe people are just facebooking on their phones instead.

Then signaling their turns well after hitting the brakes and only while making the turn I should become a traffic cop as a second career.

So I am curious I was surfing youtube what kind of crazy does this take? It is obviously russian crazy. Who would think a mountain lion makes a good pet? I surfed a few of this guy's videos and apparently it is a remarkebly a tame animal.

It looks like it is time to cull the German winter clothes out of our closet again. Apparently mid 30's are too cold for local children.

Wow the dreaded wife alarm clock went off early today for me... Apparently I am no longer allowed to have a pillow. She totally Grace Jones that thing from me like in the Conan movies with Arnold Swartzeneger.

I did get back at her by opening the door and throwing her forgotten pillow on top of her just now. I'm sure I will get in trouble for that later today. For disturbance of the sleep.

Here is my obscure movie reference. Moral of the story she forgets her pillow and I gotta pay. Wow that sounds like a song from the Offspring, "She came over, forgot her pillow" Wierd trick on how you get your pillow back, apparently you throw their own pillow(s) over their face, I'll try to get back to sleep now. This apparently allows sleeping wife beasts to quickly incorporate them in to their nests and they kick the foreign ones out.

OMG you poor north Texans have already gotten this cold front! Just looked at the Austin forecast. It just makes me cringe but this one will be getting us down here as well. The DFW forecast looked frightening.

All of our windows are currently open to warm up the house. Funny thing is my wife is out mowing right now she loves the heat I'll enjoy that tomorrow with a blustery 40F and sunshine. I think her plan is to hibernate through the next few days.

Wrap them up with christmas lights if you have them handy. They should do ok. I am doing the plant drag soon myself.
