I just brought all of my avocado plants inside.
I learned my lesson last year and do not want to lose them again this year.

The avocados I planted from seed, came up as orange trees? Seriously!

Do you get avacados? I have had mine 4 years but no avocados.

We were considering planting one over the septic system as they do require huge amounts of water for fruit I've heard, but do not have first hand experience.

Honestly, I think I'm planting figs there instead.

OMG the cat is so angry with us for this weather, the brat lived in Germany this shouldn't phase him. He keeps wanting in and out every 10 minutes, stoopid huuman did this again.

Regardless after seeing all the vetrans day crud in my wife's FB feed I am glad we are done with it for a year. My wife is the real hero. Nope I didn't go out for my free feed either from fast food franchises. I really prefer being left alone about it, but that is just me others like being celebrated.Being ready to kill or be killed isn't a cool thing. Thankfully I never had to do either except be ready to kill.

For sure people tried to kill us, obviously it failed. Regardless, for vets that need it I cannot argue against their desire for the free fast food one day a year celebrating the end of hodtilities on Armistance Day.

It's TOO DARN WINDY COLD OUTSIDE!!

OMG leaving the silkies in their coop this morning. It is raining and way to blustery to go out. I thought I would grab a breakfast taco, but nope not going out there either. They can crow all they want but it is way too cold and they have plenty of food in there.
