Well, here's that surprise I was expecting, just not this fortified a storm forecast for #26; Gamma on the other hand looks like a stoner with a large bag of chips debating which chair or couch to land in....

Last Day to register to vote(Oct 5) for Nov 3 2020 check here to reverify your registration if you plan on voting: https://teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov/MVP/mvp.do
DW and I have been dumped from the voter rolls once in our lives. It sucks getting a provisional ballot you know will never be counted. Now we vote every election no matter what to never have that happen again. Early voting starts on the 19th. It is amazing to me after defending this constitution for most of my adult life to have had those political shenanigans happen to me.

Last week we had a special election for a TX seat. I'm glad I'm still on the rolls as valid to vote!
 
After separating my friend's 23/24 chicks out of our Ideal order, I moved my 21 chicks (copper marans/brown leghorns/partridge rocks) and 10 poults to my Nursery coop. It's a 6x12 coop with a 12x24 run attached. It's so funny that Dad and I are all, "they getting SO BIG" when they're in the brooder, but as soon as they hit the coop, they're SO TINY again. For the bad news. today I have 8 poults and 20 chicks. I just bet a rat snake got in there since there is no evidence of ANYTHING. Dang it. I could have sworn we sealed up every single crack over 1/4 inch. Gonna have to go over it all again tomorrow.
