Whether today or tomorrow, I'll be headed to the metal recyclers. The bed is loaded up with all the metal I don't see as reusable.... Dead fridge, push mower, 1977 microwave, some steelie rims I don't even have a trailer for, the window frames that last summers storms destroyed before they could be put in the coop.....

Another round of flea drowning; all dogs get a bath today. Then for house cleaning chores...... Yup, this is domestic life currently.

And no rhyme for @AllenK RGV to cringe over either. (Smirks) - Oh Look, Squirrel!

Dang Mallinois keeps bringing me a slobbered up tire. You can not believe the energy they have. Don't get a Belgian Mallinois please. We only have him because we couldn't stand him tied out 24x7. He is a great balless dog but it didn't decrease his energy level. He is breathing on me like crazy as I type. I still pity the fool that upsets him.

Adamsheads? Never heard of such. Normally I have heard/seen either a simple "42" or the green laughing circle with a white towel or occasionally simply "hitchhikers guide" fan tidbits.

I had a Great Dane, he was like Linus, had to have his security blanket at all times. When he passed on, I wrapped him in it and buried them together!

So Delta is a major Hurricane. Man I hate those well every form of hurricane. Least it will not be stalling out. Please be safe LA and yep Sean NOLA. The wind field looks pretty regular though we will see what happens over the next few days. https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at1+shtml/203711.shtml?gm_track#contents rip currents and waves for us Texans still beats a sand dune destroying monster of a storm. I still feel for the folks living in the Yukatan getting hit again. There is nobody I would wish 145mph winds on. 90mph was bad enough.

So I need a bit of external validation. We finally caught a photo of a Texas Indigo Snake so I put it in my profile photo. These snakes are huge and fat I don't know how else to describe them.

Well, ~12 hrs in and they are now shifting Delta trajectory..... Further NW before the boot-hook to the right.... Now Galveston is above 50% for TS winds..... And the rain and wind forecast have more then doubled too!


Tomorrow mornings gonna definitely clear a few things up.....

So I need a bit of external validation. We finally caught a photo of a Texas Indigo Snake so I put it in my profile photo. These snakes are huge and fat I don't know how else to describe them.

They can attain a very large size...the one we had on our ranch at Bigwells, was 14' long and as big around as a coffee can!
