Sept 3rd someone dumped a pregnant dog, she gave birth to 5 pups on neighbors; (partners step son) back porch on the 5th. Step son has 4 other dogs and 2 of them they joined the fun
Sept 7th, she chewed a board, ripped hardware cloth lose on coop and killed my entire flock. Next she started running neighbor on other side of step sons 3 quarter horses. This guy does not live there, he has 10 acres, 4 cows and horses. He almost competes in cutting ng/roping (and wins). Someone must have let him know about dog 3 days later he shows up while dogs there and shoots it.
Now almost 3 months later, out of 5 pups 2 are still there.
Today, those 2 pups attacked my birds. I ran them off, didn't have gun handy (that will change). 1 slightly injured. Blood on both sides of neck, below ears. Minor, she's in crate in garage. Her buddies were pecking her neck, After I cleaned her up, and she was traumatized and in shock. Save a chicken, soap and water. I see some scratch, no punctures. Will put her back in coop tomorrow and watch them close.
Also, got a plan in place for pups, they won't be there long. I'm done playing nice.

First off, I'm so sorry to hear about your birds. Hope she does okay and gets back in the flock tomorrow or asap. 2nd, I'm on the same boat as you, next time the neighbors greyhound/pit mix comes to visit, will be his last. I've warned them for 5 years and I'm also "done playing". The sheriff informed them my horses are livestock and the dog chasing and biting at them is against the law here. We have the right to shoot it, and the sheriff will come deliver the carcass back to its owners with a hefty fine. I got a gun ready by each door AND my back window, screen removed. Just a matter of time now. 👍

I have a plan also. No shooting involved here. I'm not against it, just have another plan.
Don't miss and hit the horses.
I normally would catch and take to the pound, but that pit mix has tried on numerous occasions to attack me on my own acreage. I ain't playing no more. Its sad when you have to pack & carry, just to enjoy your pond, horses or gather eggs. But that is what it has come down to. They think it's funny, told me go ahead. They won't be laughing when they get the body and a fine. Making my horse bleed was the very last straw. She kicked him pretty good, but he still got her. Maybe he won't come back, but if he does I'm ready. LOL hubby said he dont need no weapon, he will snatch him up and snap his neck. That horse is his baby. He is furious and I don't blame him, as am I.

I couldn’t agree more!
My horses, chickens, dogs and children are not to be messed with!!
I had a stray dog come into our front yard while I was taking kids to school. It killed a few of our chickens that snuck under the fence.(fence is really for the horses)
I am still on high alert for that offender if it comes back!!

My girls not doing real good this morning. She acts like she's in pain.
She ate a little, drank a little, walked about 50 feet fell off sidewalk into grass and just sat there. She tried to get up, ended up with left leg extended behind her and just sat there breathing hard and trembling.
I picked her up, she's in wagon in garage with food and water. Suggestions? I think she may just be sore, but not sure. No visible wounds other than a few marks below eats on both sides. She did get man handled pretty good by the dogs and was laying in a head when I got to her. Head turned backwards. I thought she was dead but saw her breathing, I cussed at she hopped right up and took a couple of steps.
