Texas

We cut a dead tree done Saturday, and hauled it off. Left a stump about a foot tall. Sat a potcon it and screwed it into stump. Then we put black and blue salvias in pot.
We have another tree we're gonna remove, it in backyard, between propane tank, pumphouse and electric line to house. Waiting on weather so guy can come get it out.
we are going to do same thing to that stump. Already have pot and plants-just waiting. It gonna have
yesterday, today and tomorrow
cigar bush.
Need to finish mowing and trim some more rosebushes.

Found something beautiful on a drab, wet Sunday

Bathtub. Soap up wash grass off, drain tub, clean grass out of tub.
Refill tub, soap rinse repeat.
Drain mud from tub, clea n tub, fill tub soap Rinse repeat.
Bath done
Did you hose off outside? I'll shed the coveralls and let them dry then knock the grass and chunks of mud off.

I will weedeat in the rain. The scythe works so much better on wet grass. I got tired of the vibrations in the motor driven one and haven't used it in several years. The scythe also won't spatter grass and mud all over you. But it will cut you deep.

The black-eyed susans are starting to turn brown. Then I'll have to mow the backyard for the second time this year.

I absolutely love Rose of Sharon. Mine are blue and have so many buds- I can't wait.
This is called pink chiffon I think. I have 1 at each end of house.
Have a different rose of sharon along fence in back.
It stays smallish-more willowy then bushy, with small pink flowers
