I was out in this crud all day,
I hate HATE hot!

I was too. I don’t enjoy humid hot.. that’s what today was for me… I prefer dry heat.

It’s 10:30 at night & finally dropped below 90*; unfortunately the humidity is on the rise again!

So, here’s tomorrow’s forecasted “heat indexes”:

I dismantled my tsc prefab (sorta) and rebuilt it. It was 103+ both days, we worked from 9 til 4
From 4x6 to 8x8
It had a 6 ft peaked roof. That's gone (sorta). It's 6ft at the back (or more) and 8 ft in the front. 2 4ft roost- now 2 8 ft roost. It's still ugly (beautiful in my eyes) and I still have a few things to do, hardware currently staple, tomorrow screws, washers and trim pieces over all seams. It has 1/2 hardware cloth under 1x2 welded wire. I'll try to get pictures tomorrow.
Don't fuss toooo much.

I had to pee, I live very rural and dropped and squatted behind a bush.
I know gross but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes
My butt got sunburned

Just be careful you down squat near or in anything like poison Ivy…..

My husband had never been sensitive to pi.
He went behind a tree and pee.
4 hours Later, we're at home, he showered, and everything, I mean everything from waist to knees was covered in pi.
He couldn't wear clothes (he itched) for a week. Everything swelled up. He stayed miserable.

This is awesome. I just completed my build by combining 2 TSC coops to make a poor man's Carolina Coop. I already have plans for how I'm going to re-purpose some of the parts for the next build. Hopefully, if/when material prices level off a bit.

This I’d like to see as well.
May I ask for the “name” of the 2 coops you got? I’d like to look at TSC’s website to see them and also “kinda compare” them with the Carolina design…
