Fun fact: there's no longer a link to the model I bought. It's the Producer's Pride Easy-Clean Walk-In Coop model WCC-W. I searched the website, google, etc. and it's just...gone. The packaging said, "Chick Days 2022," which makes me think it was a limited-time thing. It sold out fast. Hopefully, they bring it back next year.

Here's a screenshot I took when I ordered it. Then the American coop from Carolina Coops it resembles. Lastly, here are some pictures of my coop. Which is, of course, still a work in progress.
It's nice to see that I'm not the only one with an exhaust fan in the coop❤️

Please do share, honestly I get tired of hearing that if you have a fan everything will go up in flames, lol
Most of the people who told me "no fans" were from north of the Mason-Dixon line. My response is, "y'all just don't know!"

The fan I bought is rated for outdoor commercial use and mentions barns as one of the recommended locations. I took that to mean chicken coops = okay.

I'm thinking of adding a couple of small fans to the wall of the coop, down low, to provide some airflow on those completely still, stagnant, sort of nights. My coop is small, just over 16 sf, but it has about 12 sf of ventilation. If it were really stagnant, then I could close the sidewalls, then pull air in low that would vent out the top-front. If there is any breeze, the two open sidewalls combined with the permanently open top-front gives great ventilation. If it is still, though, a couple of fans would help create some moving air.

Prefect, lol! Yep same with my fan, outdoor use, I give it a dusting every now and then and that's about it, been working like a charm for over a year

At least once a year I hit that fan (outside in the yard) with the pressure washer. It was about this time last year.. when we put another coat of lime wash on the inside and also emptied the litter to the compost….
