I scored this morning . Tsc had $2 off 17% all flock (dumor). This made a 50# sack $20.49. I got 3 bags, and a few other items. Got home, looked at receipt-i only got charged for 2 bags.so 150# of feed for $41.00

Happy Thanksgiving! I have been clearing fence row the last 2 days. Burned brush yesterday also. Today I'm cooking. Ham dressing Green bean casserole cakes (baked 2).cleaned house. About 20 people coming, so today gonna be busy also.

Thanksgiving was a total fail. I had 4 people show up. I've learned my lesson, my kids(family) don't care about me, or spending time together.
On the plus side- dog is eating good (turkey wings and gravy) and the chickens are eating good-green bean casserole Dressing and black eye peas.

Sorry to hear that.
We stayed home because of rain forecast from here to Dallas to Shreveport and Crazy Lady's broke leg is bothering her.
For both families. But we called and talked and talked.

I know we need the rain but I'm getting tired of it now!

Daddy always said "gods answering prayers" then went on to explain.
Drought-everyone prays for rain
God gets inundated with prayer requests
Sends rain and continues answering prayers (previous requests for rain) and keeping answering (sends more and more)
So.....we're getting all the rain we wanted last summer......at one time. A little sun would be nice but....we need the rain

Wow!!!!this sun looks spectacular! It rained hard all night, got 3.7". This system has finally pushed off to the East.

Below freezing this morning! 45°F, humidity 97%, wind W @ 6mph, clear and going to be sunny again, today.

I cleaned coop out , did some adjustment, added new leaf litter. Still have a pile to add to run, but I need to turn the litter kbreak it up)in the run first
