I purchased some Dominique pullets from a farm breeder near Waco several years ago but can't locate the name. My oldest of those girls, Vashti, passed away in February this year--she was 8 1/2 years old. Love the breed.

Im sorry for your loss. I have an 8+ year old Langshan. She is thinner than she used to be, and I worry about her often. She gets a lot of pampering now.
You are the only person that I've "met" who has had a chicken named Vashti, other than myself. My Vashti is around 5 years old. She is a Russian Orloff.
