Ugh, rain. Go, go, go away. Ugh rain. You just flood my property night and day. Ugh rain. Go, go. go away. I'm so tired of you giving me shin deep water to go through to get to my car. Ugh rain. On the 8th night(exactly 1 week after installation), the courageous rooster and his chief hen conceded that the automatic door was a good addition and put themselves to bed before the automatic door closed itself.

I was beginning to think they had trained me to tuck them in every single night.

This will be a game changer if it holds. I love my time with the flock as much as the next person, but having to get fully dressed in the heat (long sleeves, long pants, and boots to avoid mosquitos and whatnot) 3-4x/day minimum to let them in/out and to check on mid day eggs was getting a bit old.
Maybe we can even leave for a day without feeling like the eggs are going to spoil, too.

Water finally went down but I need a shavings delivery again! Also rain has yet to go away. Sigh.

Have you tried getting a mulch/chip delivery from ChipDrop?
I thought about doing it once or twice, but I didn't want to risk getting a gigantic load that I couldn't handle.

Not yet been busy and with the yard the way it is not sure they can drop it. It's been to wet.

I signed up for chip drop in austin about 2 months ago and haven’t received anything.

They say they deliver here, but I put in a few fake towns, (ie janieville, tootlesville, etc.) and they say they deliver to them too. I'm not even sure they are delivering anywhere now.
