Texas

I have nothing against TSC, but having some more local options would have been nice.
West Feeds. Local mill to much of TX (it is, after all, a big state), good nutritional numbers, reasonable pricing. Not sure who might stock them in the Austin area, however.

I tried Callahan's, but they only carried West's layer feed at the time. I looked again and there are some small dealers around the outskirts of Austin, so perhaps they would carry their chick starter.

They don't appear to my untrained eye to make a blend specifically labelled as all flock, but I've been feeding 50/50 all flock pellets with meat bird crumbles for a slight protein boost. Everyone seems to be happy and healthy with that mix.

Just noticed in the Buy-Sell-Trade "Rehoming" forum that someone in the San Antonio area has two hens and a rooster to re-home due to an impending move. Owner hasn't posted pics or more info yet. In case anyone needs more feathered friends for your flock!:)
