Not I. I wish I could make every show, but work and finances won't allow. I'll be at the West Tex fair @ Abilene Sept 10, Red River @ decatur the 24th, and the State fair show @ Dallas Oct 15-16. Hope to see some of ya'll there.

I Should Be Going To La Grange & Abilene,
I will Be Showing Shamo & Possibly Rhode Island Red Bantams if the Reds feather out a little more in the nest 3 wks

I'm a little concened about having birds prime for show also. This heat has really slowed them down. They don't eat as much when its hot, and they are slower to feather. My son and I are showing Bantam Brahmas and Bantam Dark Cornish at Abilene.

The pics of the garden and the rain looks fantastic!!!

OK, now stop teasing - - haven't had any rain in MONTHS! My water bill looks a payment of the National Debt!! The rest of the week doesn't look very promising, 103 - 105. I think I'm just going to pass on trying a fall garden. And on top of it all, that pesky propane delivery guy came to top off my tank and I am more than willing to share that bill (and it was a SMALL one!).

It's going to be a long, hot week. I hope my optimism returns soon!

Can someone point me to where I can find some info on this? I don't live that far away and it sounds like something the 8y/o heathen monster child and I might enjoy walking around at.

Once again, I watched a thunderstorm neatly skirt my property and had to listen to a friend a few miles away complain (!) about the rain. Honestly though, since it's fairly normal to see temps of 100 and above in August here, it's not as hard to take as it was, it's just that it's been that hot since the end of June. Or maybe I've just given up. I probably need a new friend, too

I bet you would call him more than "pesky" if he let you run out.

You're prob right, Tim. But I'd have to work really hard to empty a 500 gallon tank! Mostly, I'd just love to see some rain. Sure could use a break from the heat.

I'm one of those pesky propane delivery guys Bob.

Josh, you don't have too much to worry about from me in FL or AOCCL! I got res FL there last year and Best FL the year before. I'm not even sure I'll get a BV this time around. This will be our first time ever to show cornish. It sounds like there might be quite a few birds this year.

See you there!
Tim
