Thang Talk Central + Wonder if any CA peapeople looking for IB chicks?

For all of the "Thang" sympathizers" here I thought maybe an update was overdue. Seems Thang and his harem of 3 white flighted IB hens has been busy. I think two weeks ago I added 3-4 Thang eggs to the incubator and Sunday nite another 6 and when I was shuffling eggs to make more room I happened to candle one of them and it was dark. So without a doubt his genetics will still be around. All those loving Thang maybe happy about this.

Hooray for Thang genetics!

I should also take this moment to bring up my original question again...anyone in CA looking for IB chicks?
They're not ready to go yet, but I'm guessing it will take a while to find a good free range home for them...
These are two of the three, so far thinking one girl and two boys.

New2,,candled eggs last nite due in a few days and yes, there is a Thangette developing.Today I need to get this next group of eggs seperated and will check for sure but the number of eggs in this group is the last of the "small" number of hatches I will have with about 20 eggs due.Next 3 groups of eggs set numbered in the 60-91 range.

Very impatient!!!!

I sort of feel as though, wherever the Thangettes go to live, I will be their self-appointed godmother....or eccentric aunt.
Why is that?
Is it the dynamic personality of the Wild Thang?
A personality that makes everyone want to be associated with him, even in a distant way???

I did seperate the ones due to hatch Monday but didn't get an accurate count as to which eggs but I know in this bunch my first Cameo W/E,Bronze,and at least 1 Thangette are in the group of about 20. I heard chirping inside the eggs when the bator was shut off as I rotated the eggs in the trays but none has pipped.Mostly in this group is Midnight B/S and Opal B/S.Also my first Charcoal egg that is developing is in this group. New2,care to be a surrogate parent?
