Just curious.....is there a reason for leaving the "o" out of God in the above posts? Posts #13 and #14, to be more specific.....

Yahweh was YAWH I think. Or maybe the H was changed with the W?

I have heard something similar, but if His name is too holy even to write, how dare we even speak it? If you read The Bible, you read his name in print, so I don't see a difference. Besides, Isaiah 42:8 says His name is The LORD.......yep, this could lead to a l-o-n-g discussion, so I'll hush now.

I cannot prove this but I believe YHWH rhymes with Daddy or Abba
