Thankful Thursday. Thirsty Three Times Think Thickish

I’ll have a whole new wardrobe when I’m done. There’s a lot of homemade dresses and vintage stuff I’ll try to push online. Old people clothes are the in.

i loved all my grandmothers homemade dresses when i was little!!! they are all long gone now but there’s still some quilts that she made

Mom decided one day she was done doing laundry for us kids. We found our dirty clothes in a pile in the middle of our bed.
She simply said you have until tomorrow night to make that pile of laundry magically clean itself and appear in your dresser folded. If it isn’t, your life will become a living hell until it is.
Then she proceeded to do back to back loads of laundry for the rest of that day, till about 11 pm.

I took her to heart. Sister didn’t. She found herself sleeping on an air mattress with a military wool blanket. That, and her pile of laundry, were the ONLY thing in her room.

I never did test moms limits much.

I think those are the best things to have from loved ones: quilts. You can wrap yourself in they and remember them. It is like a hug.

i have tried similar things but i don’t like running that many “small” loads my plan is to separate everyone’s clean laundry and make them put it away or throw it away! unfortunately when i’ve tried this in the past, some items have turned up in my laundry pile again without being worn

My house is a clothing optional zone. I cannot say that I always wear old people clothes unless you want to say that my birthday suit is old folks clothes.
