I live in Micro North Carolina and just 2 years ago purchased my first Rooster (a Sultan) and 2 chickens.
Then I purchased a few more got up to 30. When my husband hired someone to build a coop.

Then my peeps came along and I had a variety of ages. My 3 cats started looking at them meaningful. That was quickly halted.
My horses stomped one, when she was trying to get the feed he dropped.
And I have Endemin Geese and Curly Sebastapol on the pond. Along with Kaki Campbells, Apple Orchard Ducks.
I just love all of them.
