though we think it might be disputed because the judge does'nt know welsummers and might've gotten confused by a ameracacaus hen that looks very simular. we'll see. now we're gearing up for the tulsa state fair, our only hold up is pullurum testing (don't think i spelled that right), anyway, if any of my fellow oakies can help me with that i would be grateful. every body have a good day

i know we are sooo excited!!!!! we have our game faces on for the big one who'd a thought those homely welsummers would end up being champs their first time out. this calls for pizza!

Congratulations. What fair did you win? Also I didn't know you had Welsummers. I sold most of mine last year but I really love the ones I kept. I wish I had kept them all. If you ever have any to sell please let me know.

might be disputed cause the judge did'nt know welsummers and might've gotten confused by a ameracacaus hen that looks very simular

I was not the judge. I know a guy that has Welsummers. I just bought a new rooster from him. His prices are very good. I don't know if he has any more grown ones but I am sure he has some cockerals. He lives north of Harrah. He is actually the guy I traded my other hens to last year.
He has some beautiful blue cochins and I traded for a quad of those. I ended up loaning them to a lady that was going to raise and hatch them for a split. Unfortunatly something got in the pen and killed them.
Anyway I'll ask him when I talk to him.
How many hens do you have? Let me know if the guy you got them from has more.

i have 2 pullets the guys name is lawrence, it might be the same really nice man. for someone on a reeeeaaalllly tight budget, and got most of her flock for free i thought it was high but VERRRRRY worth it, he has some cochins and silkies i'm in love with. i don't no if he has more, sure would like to get a cockrel bout the same age as my pullits before spring, i just gotta save money. i'll email you his number.
