Thanksgiving Day Hatch, anyone?

My 1st baby is out! This is my 1st time ever doing this and I was screaming with excitement when I saw it!!!!!!! VERY CUTE!!!

It was #6 that hatched. And I have 1 more that has a pip in it. I will be going back outside to scope them out in a minute!!!!! #6 wasn't even on my list of eggies that I thought would hatch. I am so excited....I have barely cleaned my house for Thanksgiving and company coming over!

ok, had to post a pic of my new little silkies.
6 partridge, 1 black, 1 grey, 1 white, and 1 not sure what color
it's supposed to be. It's black or dark grey with lighter, almost
white, feathers on its feet, legs and edge of its wings.

What do yall?????????? Out of 42 eggs due tomorrow, 13 have already hatched. They are running all over the other eggs and sitting on top of
other eggs that are trying to hatch. One egg had a big hole on top of it,
and the other chicks rolled it completely over to where the peep is now next to the floor.
I know it says to stay out, but the humidity is 82% and I so want to take
the babies and put them in the nursery and get them away for the unhatched eggs. TELL ME WHAT TO DO!

Don't touch the bator yet. If you open it, you risk those eggs that haven't hatched yet. The chickies will "encourage" their buddies to come on out and play!

I came home to find 2 pips out of 22 eggs. And, they weren't due to hatch until Friday. So, here we go...

As far as I can tell the 4 or 5 eggs that haven't hatched all have pips, but the bator is definitely crowded with all those chicks running wild. I've noticed that when I shine the flashlight on them (the bator is in a closet w/o lights), it really gets them running and pecking...so maybe if you keep them in the dark they won't be so rough on the pipped eggs.

Reading all these exciting post of early hatching and all makes me so excited myself..I am expecting my first hatching ever Friday and was hoping I would get one tomorrow on Thanksgiving..if meant will be.. Good luck on all the hatches..I just can't hardly wait..never done this before.
